Individual and couples therapy for grief, trauma, and relationship challenges
— supporting meaningful change and long-term wellbeing.
At Insight Centre Counselling, I work with you to explore the experiences that have shaped your life in ways you may not fully understand. Whether it’s grief, the lingering impact of past trauma, or patterns in relationships that feel stuck or challenging, I provide a safe and supportive space to gain insight into what’s happening beneath the surface.
If life feels overwhelming and you’re constantly giving your best while struggling internally, therapy offers a chance to slow down, make sense of these patterns, and discover a new way of being. Together, we help you find clarity, regain balance, and move toward meaningful change — so you don’t just cope better, but truly enjoy life again.
I’m passionate about supporting individuals and couples through life’s challenges. Seeking counselling is a brave step towards gaining support and insight, and my goal is to create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and understood.
I bring a multicultural background to my practice, which informs my understanding of diverse perspectives and experiences. I recognise that every person’s journey is unique, and I take the time to understand what you’re going through. My approach is grounded in empathy and respect, adapting evidence-based therapies to suit your individual needs and circumstances.
Together, we work not only to address immediate challenges but also to support your long-term wellbeing. This process supports you to gain clarity, develop new strategies, and gently replace old patterns with a stronger, more compassionate sense of self.
"Before I started counselling I felt lost and without direction. Over time I have learnt how to focus on the journey and not just the destination. My day to day life now feels meaningful, and my relationship with myself and others has improved immensely. I look forward to every session I have with Yasmin, she really listens thoughtfully and I have developed a deeper insight about my childhood and who I am today.."
"When I started with Yasmin I was facing work and family challenges, I was anxious and experiencing panic attacks. Yasmin allowed me to open up, explore my thoughts and challenges, and develop valuable insight. I have now learnt how to manage my emotions and I have built a healthier life for myself. I am sincerely grateful for her guidance and support."
"I feel lucky to have found Yasmin as a counsellor. We established a great connection from the beginning and I felt comfortable and safe to be honest and open. Yasmin really listens without judgment and cares about what I say during each session and I am a lot calmer after I speak to her. I have developed more self awareness, understanding of my concerns, and I am feeling better about myself."
